Kathy P. Finney, RN,
MS, FNP
Ms. Finney grew up in northwestern Pennsylvania.
She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in
nursing from West Virginia University. Postgraduate
studies were completed at Radford University. Ms.
Finney has been working in oncology for most of
her professional career and has held positions
at Johns Hopkins Hospital and University of Kansas
Medical Center. She taught nursing for a period
of time as well.
Ms. Finney holds memberships in several professional
organizations including the Oncology Nursing
Society, Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners
and Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society.
Ms. Finney is married and mother of two sons.
She resides in Blacksburg, Virginia. Ms. Finney
enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with
friends and family.
