Dr. Padmaja Mallidi graduated from Guntur Medical College University of Health Sciences
in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India. She completed an internship and residency in Internal
Medicine at New York Methodist Hospital, affiliated with Cornell University Medical Center
in New York, New York. Dr. Mallidi then did subspecialty training in Hematology and Medical
Oncology at West Virginia University hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. She is board
certified in Hematology, Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Mallidi is a member of several professional societies including the American Society
of Hematology, The American Society of Clinical Oncology, The American College of Physicians,
etc. She received the “Best Resident” award during residency training.
Dr. Mallidi is currently practicing at Blue Ridge Cancer Care in the Roanoke office location.
She cares for patients with a wide range of disease related to blood disorders and cancers.
Dr. Mallidi continues to be active in clinical cancer research. She has contributed to various
publications and presentations. She also received “Outstanding Attending Physician” award from
Carilion Clinic Internal Medicine Residency Program.
Time away from work is enjoyed by spending time with her husband and two sons.
