Time and Location: Friday, May 29 at 7pm - Saturday
May 30 until Noon at Green Hill Park.
In 2008, Blue Ridge Cancer Care was the top Medical Practice
fund raiser in the Roanoke, Virginia area. This
was accomplished by organizing activities throughout
the year along with physician contributions. Blue
Ridge Cancer Care is a Platinum Sponsor.
April 16-17, 2009 - Choosing
a Journey Of Hope And Healing When Cure Is Not
Possible. GOALS: At the end of the conference
participants will:
1. Appreciate the value of an individualized,
holistic approach to end-of-life care for patients
and their families.
2. Recognize key elements in developing effective
palliative care in their particular setting (acute
care units in hospitals, LTC, outpatient clinics,
home care, etc).
3. Expand current knowledge regarding effective
management of symptoms common at the end of life.
