Karanita M. Ojomo, M.D.
Background:
Radiation Oncology
Originally from Portsmouth, Dr. Ojomo attended
Norfolk State University where she graduated with
a B.S. in Biology. She then graduated from Eastern
Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. She completed
her internship in internal medicine and her radiation
oncology residency at Howard University Hospital,
Washington, D.C., where she also served as Chief
Resident. Before joining Oncology and Hematology
Associates of Southwest Virginia, she served as
a faculty member in the Department of Radiation
Oncology at the University of Rochester, New York.
Dr. Ojomo is an active member of the American Association
of Physician Specialists and American Society for
Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology.
