Elizabeth D. Skaggs, RN,
MSN, ANP
Elizabeth was raised in southwest Virginia. She
obtained her RN degree in 1992 from the College
of Health Sciences in Roanoke, Virginia. In 2003,
she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing,
also at the College of Health Sciences. After working
as a chemotherapy nurse for 10 years, she went on
to pursue and earn her Master's degree in Nursing
at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Elizabeth is a member of several professional
organizations, including Oncology Nursing Society,
Virginia Nurses Association, Phi Theta Kappa (Nursing
Honor Society), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners,
and the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners.
Elizabeth is happily married to Mitch, and has
one son, Drew. They reside in Roanoke, Virginia.
Elizabeth enjoys spending time with family, outdoor
sports, and her church, Church of the Holy Spirit.
